An online forum to discuss the status of the the Arts & Cultural District and how we can accelerate progress. Ryan Whitaker, President of the Old Town North Alliance and co-developer of the TideLock Project, will moderate a panel discussion followed by an opportunity for Q&A. Panelists will include Jeffrey Farner (City of Alexandria Department of Planning & Zoning), Suzanne Bethel (The Art League), Austen Holderness (Carr Properties), and Dena Stoner (Board Member of the National Council for the Traditional Arts and the Shippensburg University Foundation). Dena has done extensive research on arts & cultural districts across the country that have used the arts as a driver for economic development.
