You can rent a vendor space to sell your own items, donate items to the community sale, or do both!
RENT A SPACE
Sell your own items at the community yard sale. Spaces are limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is $25 per – One long table that is provided (8ft by 2.5ft), underneath and the surrounding area and clothing hanging racks if requested.
What to bring / know:
• Price Tags for items and change/Venmo for customers
• Set up begins Thursday (Oct 8th) and Friday (Oct 9th) from 12pm – 9pm or early on October 10th
• You keep 100% of your sales proceeds or can donate them back to the Club (Dealer’s Choice)
• Register and pay by October 9th to reserve your space
• Spaces are Indoors in our ballroom and up 10 steps

Support the Eagle’s community by donating clean, usable items. Proceeds from donated items benefit Boys and Girls Club of Alexandria.

Accepted items (clean & in good working condition):
• Clothing, shoes, accessories, bags
• Household goods, kitchenware, small appliances
• Toys, games, books, media
• Furniture (manageable size), décor, seasonal items
• Sports equipment, tools, and other gently used goods
Please do NOT donate:
• Broken, stained, or heavily worn items
• Mattresses, large appliances, hazardous materials
• Expired food, opened toiletries, or recalled products
• Items that cannot be easily carried or displayed
Alternative donation options:
If your items are not a fit for this sale (or you prefer another route), consider these options:
• Local thrift stores / charities: [e.g. Goodwill, Salvation Army, Habitat ReStore] — check their accepted-item lists and hours
• Specialty programs: electronics recycling, clothing closets, school/PTA drives, or animal shelters (blankets, towels)
• Online / free-cycle: local Buy Nothing groups, freecycle.org, or similar community exchange pages
• Tax receipts: many nonprofits provide donation receipts — ask at drop-off if you need one for tax purposes
GENERAL GUIDELINES
• All participants must follow event rules and instructions from organizers
• No selling of illegal, counterfeit, or prohibited items
• Vendors are responsible for their own sales and manning their table unless otherwise told club in advance
• Please leave your space clean; trash and recycling will be available
• The organizing group is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items
Anything not picked up after 2pm or Sunday (October 11th) during club hours will be donated Monday, October 12th
