Arlington’s young actors, designers, and theatre-loving families have a big Saturday ahead! Encore Stage & Studio is kicking off its fall season on Saturday, September 12 with two opportunities for kids to jump into the world of theatre: a FREE Fall Open House and a special Pre-Audition Workshop for Madeline’s Christmas.
Encore’s Fall Open House invites families with children from preschool through 8th grade to get a firsthand look at what’s coming this season.
Young artists can jump into FREE theatre sampler classes, with opportunities to act, move, create, and explore their imaginations. Middle school students can even head behind the scenes with a set design sampler.
Families will also have the chance to meet Encore’s professional teaching artists and learn about the packed season ahead, including fall classes, upcoming auditions, holiday mini-camps, performances, and Encore’s brand-new Parents’ Night Out program.
Whether your child is already counting down the days until their next curtain call or has never stepped onstage before, the Open House offers an easy, no-pressure way to discover Encore’s signature “Theatre by Kids, for Kids” experience.

Auditioning for Madeline’s Christmas? Get Ready Before the Open Call!
After the Open House, aspiring performers can stick around for Encore’s Madeline’s Christmas Pre-Audition Workshop from 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
With auditions just around the corner, the optional workshop is designed to take the mystery and nerves out of the audition process. Students will learn what to expect at an Encore audition, practice presenting themselves confidently, and prepare for the upcoming Madeline’s Christmas open call.
It’s a chance to walk into audition day knowing the ropes and ready to shine.
