James and the Giant Peach follows the journey of James, a lonely boy who escapes his miserable aunts and finds friendship, courage, and adventure inside a magical oversized peach. Alongside a charming crew of larger-than-life insect companions, James embarks on a fantastical voyage across the ocean, filled with dazzling songs, colorful characters, and the heartwarming reminder that family can be found in the most unexpected places. Expect laughter, friendship, and a magical ocean voyage like no other.

“James and the Giant Peach is such a fun story about courage, friendship, and finding family in unexpected places,” said Krissy McGregor. “Our cast has really brought the magic and whimsy of Roald Dahl’s world to life — audiences are going to love the music, laughter, and adventure.”

For more than 40 years, MVCCT has been dedicated to providing children and teens in Northern Virginia with the opportunity to learn and grow through theater.
