Looking for a lap cat? Meet Kat, this week’s purrfectly adoptable pet

Meet your new best friend, Kat – this week’s adoptable cat of the week!

Kat, a 4-year-old female black tabby, is available for adoption from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA).

“My name is Kat, and I’m a black tabby kitty who is pretty as can be. I’m also a calm, sweet, and social girl. I enjoy having visitors and appreciate the attention,” the AWLA shared in Kat’s bio. “I like to lounge in my bed behind a blanket, but I will come right out to greet you. I like pets and head rubs.

The AWLA continues, “When I’m comfortable with you, I may curl up in your lap…I just love a comfy lap! I’m curious and love to gaze out the window. I like to snack on crunchy Temptations. I’m looking for a loving person to share their life with me. I’m good company and would love to join you on the sofa for a Hallmark movie. Do I sound like just the kitty your life is missing? I hope so! You should come by the shelter to meet me. I bet we will be the best of friends!”
