Any adult Alexandrians missing that high of browsing the Scholastic book fair at schools can get a hit of it at the Old Town Book Fair next week.
The Old Town Book Fair: Adult Edition is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 9, at Morrison House (116 S. Alfred Street) from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
“With over 15 carefully curated vendors, this fair promises a treasure trove of all things bookish!” an event listing said. “Explore an array of book-themed items, from quirky bookmarks and literary-inspired art to cozy bookish apparel and unique collectibles.”
The fair will also feature artisanal coffee from a coffee cart and cocktails at a bar.
“We’re also excited to spotlight Xolo Books, a dedicated vendor celebrating BIPOC authors and voices,” the listing said. “Dive into a diverse range of books that offer fresh perspectives and stories that resonate.”
Admission is free and no reserve tickets are required. All ages are welcome to attend, but the reading material at the fair is more adult oriented.
