Notes: Funk/soul band ‘War’ coming to the Birchmere

Normally our Birchmere stories come too late to cover many of the big acts, but there are still tickets (as of writing) for funk/soul band War coming to Alexandria in April.

The band just announced they will be playing at The Birchmere on April 11 and April 12. General admission tickets are $85.

The band is best known for hits like Spill the Wine and Low Rider.
