Dump truck fire on I-95 near Woodrow Wilson Bridge in Alexandria

A dump truck is on fire in the thru lanes on Interstate 95 northbound near the Woodrow Wilson Bridge (via VDOT)

Expect some traffic near the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, because the Alexandria Fire Department and Virginia State Police are responding to a dump truck on fire near the bridge on northbound Interstate 95.

The fire was called in at 12:51 p.m. in the thru lanes of I-95 north. The dump truck is parked on the left shoulder of the roadway just before the exit for Route 1.

The incident temporarily closed two lanes of traffic on the roadway, though all lanes have since been restored.
