Just a week after another bridge opening, the Woodrow Wilson Bridge will be opening again tonight (Tuesday).

The bridge is scheduled to open around 10 p.m. Once open, the bridge should be open for around 20 minutes.

The bridge opening will allow vessels participating in the Clipper Round the World Race — a global yacht race — to depart again on their voyage.

“Motorists are advised to allow extra driving time overnight on Monday, June 17 and Tuesday, June 25 to accommodate the delays,” the Maryland Department of Transportation said in a release. “The State Highway Administration understands this drawbridge opening will inconvenience some travelers and asks all motorists to please stay alert and be patient as you pass through the area.”
