Man arrested after robbery at West End high rise

A 28-year old Alexandria man suffered non-life threatening injuries after a robbery at a high rise apartment building in the West End early Monday night.

The incident occurred at around 6:30 p.m. in the 6000 block of Edsall Road. One suspect is in custody and the other remains at large. The suspect in custody lives in the apartment building and was positively identified by the victim, according to dispatch reports.

The Alexandria Police Department did not release information on the suspect arrested, what he was charged with and what was allegedly stolen.
