The health center opened to the public last November, and since then, more than 40,000 patients have received emergency, primary, specialty and surgical care, according to the hospital system.
The numbers include:
More than 26,000 patients seen in primary and specialty care
More than 1,300 procedures completed at the Ambulatory Surgery Center
More than 13,000 Emergency Department patient visits
“These numbers reflect a compassionate, collaborative team that is deeply committed to delivering excellent care,” Dr. Rina Bansal, president of Inova Alexandria Hospital, said in a release. “Oakville has become a model of innovation across Inova—demonstrating how thoughtful design, strong culture, and integrated services can transform the patient experience. We could not be more proud of what this team has built.”
The 93,000-square-foot location, which is directly across from Potomac Yard and near Arlington, supports Inova Alexandria Hospital at 4320 Seminary Road and will supplement the future Inova Alexandria Hospital at Landmark, which is expected to open in 2028.
The facility offers a 24/7 emergency department, outpatient surgery, specialty care and more.
