Corcoran McEnearney has appointed Evan Lacopo as Managing Broker of its Alexandria office, which the company says is the top-performing residential real estate office in Alexandria by sales volume.
The appointment, announced Thursday (July 18), brings a seasoned luxury real estate leader to the role. Lacopo previously held leadership positions at TTR Sotheby’s International Realty and Douglas Elliman Metro DC.

Before entering real estate, Lacopo co-founded Trusted Advisors Mortgage, which became a leading mortgage lender for high-net-worth clients referred by financial professionals. After the company’s acquisition by Access National Bank in 2002, he earned his real estate license and later his Associate Broker’s license.
A native Washingtonian, Lacopo is licensed in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland. In January 2025, he was elected to the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR) Board of Directors, following a decade of service on various committees.
His civic contributions include leadership roles with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington, D.C. and Bridges to Independence. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Center for Excellence.
