Deadline nears for Alexandria communities to register for National Night Out

National Night Out is around the corner, and so is the deadline for Alexandria’s communities to register for the annual event.

The national event on Aug. 5 (Thursday) is intended to bring police closer to their communities with hot dogs, games, and raffles. The deadline to register your neighborhood is Tuesday, July 18.

According to the city:

The Alexandria Police Department is excited to join the Alexandria community to celebrate National Night Out (NNO) on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, starting at 5 p.m. All NNO events are hosted by neighborhoods, neighborhood organizations, community groups, and/or businesses. If you plan on hosting an event please submit your event registration by completing the form below before July 18, 2025.

Registering for your event is free and it provides APD, Alexandria Leadership, and other community representatives an opportunity to know about and possibly attend your event.
