Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Activities is seeking vendors for the fourth annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration at the Patrick Henry Recreation Center (4643 Taney Avenue). The party’s on October 11 (Saturday), and the deadline to be a vendor is August 1.

Participating vendors are charged $50.

According to the city:

The event will feature live music, dance performances, art, cultural exhibits, and family-friendly activities that reflect the diverse traditions of Latin American countries. RPCA proudly celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month as part of its commitment to fostering an inclusive and vibrant community.

This year’s event is presented in partnership with local organizations and community groups dedicated to uplifting Hispanic voices and stories…

If you’re a small local business looking for an opportunity to serve the community, this could be the perfect chance for you!

Vendor applications will be reviewed in collaboration with City staff and community groups, with the City retaining final selection authority. For the 2025 celebration, we anticipate welcoming between 10 and 15 vendors.
