Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) is gearing up to honor the Class of 2025 at its graduation ceremony, which will be held on Wednesday (May 28) at George Mason University’s EagleBank Arena.

Over 600 seniors from Alexandria City High School (ACHS) are moving on to higher education, with plans to attend 134 different colleges and universities. Some graduates are also heading to trade schools, pursuing careers in fields like HVAC, dentistry, and cosmetology.

The ceremony will feature talks from ACPS Superintendent Dr. Melanie Kay-Wyatt, ACHS Executive Principal Alexander Duncan, and several ACHS students.

The ceremony kicks off at 8:45 a.m., with doors opening at 8 a.m. for guests.

If the ceremony seems earlier this year than normal, you’re not wrong – Here’s why ACHS is in May, not June this year.
