After being in business for less than two years, Dollar Tree in Arlandria has temporarily closed.

The store opened at 3811 Mount Vernon Avenue in 2023. The former home of CVS was vacant for a decade before Dollar Tree moved in.

The Finmarc Management, Inc. property is located in the Del Ray North Shopping Center, which has struggled with occupancy for the last several years.

There are more than 15,000 Dollar Tree locations throughout the country. A representative of the Chesapeake-based company told ALXnow that the store closed due to personnel issues.

The company website lists a number of jobs available at the location, including store manager and sales floor associate.
