Alexandria’s “40 Over 40” revealed: See who’s being honored

The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce is recognizing seasoned professionals with its new “40 Over 40” initiative, which spotlights individuals who are making waves in their industries and communities.

In an email to members, the Chamber ALX revealed the names of 40 honorees who are pushing boundaries, redefining success, and demonstrating exceptional leadership and innovation.

This diverse group represents a wide range of sectors, including hospitality, finance, healthcare, law, and nonprofits. Among the notable recipients are Stephen Hartell from Amazon, Heather Peeler of ACT for Alexandria, and Tom Kaiden from Visit Alexandria.

The Chamber expressed excitement about celebrating these accomplished professionals and plans to feature each honoree on social media in the coming weeks.

Mark your calendars for August 21, when United Bank will present a live awards ceremony to recognize the honorees. Tickets are now up for grabs.

This announcement comes hot on the heels of the Chamber’s recent “40 Under 40” reveal.

The list of honorees includes business owners, executives, and community leaders. It includes Donna Anderson of HomeGrown Restaurant Group, Marion Brunken of Volunteer Alexandria, Inc., and Dr. Vivek Sinha of Belleview Medical Partners, P.C.

The recognition spans key sectors of Alexandria’s economy and community, from banking and real estate to healthcare and tourism.
