Alexandria Chamber unveils 2025 ’40 Under 40′ honorees

The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce (The Chamber ALX) has unveiled its 2025 40 Under 40 list, spotlighting young professionals who are making waves across various sectors.

The Chamber ALX has released the names of 40 individuals under 40 who’ve made their mark in business, tech, nonprofits, civic engagement, public service, education, and the arts.

According to the Chamber’s newsletter, these honorees were picked based on their career achievements, academic excellence, community impact, and personal journeys.

The diverse group includes people from both public and private sectors. Some standouts are Elisar M. Alassaf from CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union, Kat Ashmore from Alexandria’s Workforce Development, and Mary Bramley from the City’s Office of Historic Alexandria.

Entrepreneurs are also in the mix, with names like Amber Bryson of Dope Focus & City Kitchen, and Richard Lee of Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii getting a nod.

The list spans a wide range of industries, from banking and education to tech and nonprofits. Among the notable names are Dr. Emily Dillard from Alexandria City Public Schools, Wynn Hunsaker from Alexandria Economic Development Partnership, and Joanna Fortin from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
