Notes: D.C. police arrest teen for murder of Alexandria man earlier this month

The Washington Metropolitan Police Department announced an arrest earlier this week for the fatal shooting of Alexandria resident Taquan Turner.

Turner, 29, was shot on Monday, Oct. 7, around the 100 block of T Street in Northeast D.C. Police arrested Malachi Davarchi Mack, 19, and charged him with second degree murder while armed.

“Upon arrival, the members located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds,” the release said. “DC Fire and EMS was called to the scene and after all lifesaving measures failed, the victim died at the scene.”
