Meet Ava, an adorable girl who is up for adoption at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria!
This girl has some expressive grins and ears, and is very active as a young dog who loves to play, according to AWLA spokesperson Erin Shackelford.
“She really loves to play and run with other dogs and would likely thrive with a canine companion,” said Shackelford. “She is a loving, social, and affectionate dog that would be a great companion.”
Ava’s house manners are impeccable according to her previous guardians!
Her adoption fees have also been waived through the month of August as part of the AWLA’s Big Dog Energy adoption event. All large dogs — over 40 pounds — have waived fees!
