Sam I Am is an adorable senior dog searching for his forever home!
This 12-year-old is up for adoption at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
Sam loves to take naps in his fluffy bed and to take long leisurely walks to sniff everything, according to AWLA spokesperson Erin Shackelford.
“Sam I Am loves snacks and treats, but if he’s honest, he could stand to lose a few pounds,” said Shackelford. “Sam I Am is a newfound food puzzle pro — he has bested every treat and enrichment puzzle he’s received.”
As an older dog Sam does have reduced eyesight, but can still get around just fine! Sam also gets along fine with other dogs.
