Alexandria Police investigate multiple assaults over the weekend

Alexandria police investigated multiple felony assault calls over the weekend.

Monday morning, around 4 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute at 200 block of Bluestone Road. According to the scanner, a woman told police her boyfriend had attacked her.

According to the Alexandria Police Department (APD):

Alexandria Police officers have responded to a reported felony assault involving two individuals in the 200 block of Bluestone Road. An adult male was stabbed and a female sustained minor injuries in the altercation. She is being transported for treatment. APD is investigating.

The second incident occurred early on Sunday morning. A felony assault was reported on the 2700 block of Duke Street, near the Lindsay Cadillac. APD said one person suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
