🚨 You need to know

After some delays, a small neighborhood of single-family homes are set to be demolished next month to make way for a cluster of townhouses, Alexandria Living Magazine reported.

The Upland Park project at the intersection of North Beauregard Street and Seminary Road has had its ups and downs — including being scaled back at the request of the developer so another parcel of land on the site might later be used for a different development.

Alexandria Living Magazine reported the new development will feature 92 new townhouses.

Demolition is set to start in July and the site reported that the first of the new townhomes could be available sometime in late 2025.
