Alexandria’s DASH bus network isn’t the only transit agency going through changes: the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s Better Bus initiative could impact Alexandria riders.
Route 10B runs from Ballston to Alexandria via Shirlington. The new plan would cut out the stop at the Shirlington transit center and make the trip around 15 minutes shorter, ABC7 news reported.
Another change would see the bus use the bus-only lanes currently only used by Metroway buses between Pentagon City and Alexandria.
Alexandria Transportation and Environmental Services noted on Twitter that locals that want to make their thoughts known about changes to routes 8W and 10B have time to make their voices heard.
There is more time to submit your feedback! The #betterbus initiative is proposing changes to routes in Alexandria such as the 8W and the 10B. Visit the post below to see how you can share your thoughts with WMATA. https://t.co/NBDmTno606
