
Alexandria is under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 10 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
According to NWS:
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 10 p.m. A few storms may be severe with damaging wind gusts and large hail.
Forecasters predict that this week’s warm weather is on its way out. NWS anticipates freezing temperatures returning in the overnight and early morning hours of Saturday night through Monday morning.
