Sammy is ready to be your new best friend!
This 11-month-old weighs about 47 pounds and is up for adoption through the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
This guy has the sweetest face along with a loving and friendly personality, according to AWLA spokesperson Erin Shackelford.
“While he can be shy and timid at first, he warms up pretty quickly, especially with women,” said Shackelford. “Once you’re in his good graces, he is your best friend.”
He may be a bit more shy around men, but Sammy is gaining confidence and working on his leash walking skills! Sammy needs patience, but he is cuddly and will love you with kisses.
Sammy is currently in foster. Be sure to check out his entire profile. To learn more about meeting Sammy, email adoptions@org or callĀ 703-746-4774, option 2.
