A juvenile was arrested in connection to a report of shots fired in the West End on Sunday afternoon, according to the Alexandria Police Department.
No one was injured in the incident, which occurred at around 3:15 p.m. near condominiums in the 3300 block of S. 28th Street.
Police are still investigating the incident. No details regarding the suspect were released, except that the person is a juvenile.
“On arrival police located evidence that shots were fired, and discovered property damage in the area,” APD said in a release. “No injuries were reported. Shortly after police apprehended a juvenile in connection to the incident. While APD has made an arrest, we are still investigating this incident.”
The area is less than a block from the Alexandria Health Department’s office at 4480 King Street.
