The Alexandria Police Department is investigating more shots fired at night in the city.
Wednesday night saw the third straight evening with police responding to gunfire, this time occurring at around 10 p.m. in the 100 block of Jasper Place in the West End.
No one was reportedly injured, but there were multiple shots fired in the residential neighborhood and a car was hit, according to Alexandria Police spokesman Lt. Courtney Ballantine.
“An unknown suspect was seen leaving the area in a vehicle,” Ballantine said, but did not provide a suspect or vehicle description.
NOTIFICATION :: The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a “shots fired” call for service in the 100 block of Jasper Place. There are no injuries. Expect police activity in the area.
