The 20th annual Alexandria Film Festival is off to a flying start.
In August and September, the film fest will showcase screenings of documentaries about gun violence and E. Jean Carroll, the former advice columnist who won a sexual assault and defamation trial against President Trump.
The Alexandria Film Festival is set to make MetroStage‘s new theater its permanent home starting in 2026.
According to a press release published by both organizations, this four-day event, which showcases independent features and short films from around the world, will be the first “In Residence” arts organization to share space with MetroStage.
