Sleepy Cat ‘Nightcap’ Up for Adoption With the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria

Nightcap isn’t named for any late night drinks, but this sleepy cat might warm your heart by rubbing against your ankle at home.

The one-year-old gray female is up for adoption through the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.

“She’s named, not after the drink, but after the old-fashioned sleep-time headgear, because when she first came to us,she loved to spend all of her time in her bed,” said Gina Hardter, spokesperson for the AWLA. “Since then, she’s grown more familiar with her new environment and now loves to greet visitors with purrs and ankle rubs.”

If you are interested in learning more about her or scheduling time to meet her, either in person or virtually, visit AlexandriaAnimals.org/Adopt-By-Appointment for more information.
