Alexandria Living Magazine reported that Cocolita Food, a Mexican food and knickknack shop at 3802 Mount Vernon Avenue, has closed its storefront.
But while the store is closed, Alexandria Living Magazine said a note in the window and on Instagram said owner Carla Mantecon will continue to offer catering, private dinners and delivery services, as well as other new ventures in the future.
According to the announcement:
After a few months of serving you at Cocolita Gourmet Mexican Store, we announce with much regret and sadness that our store’s last day of operation will be April 8th 2023.
This is not the end for Cocolita, we are working on new projects that we will tell you about soon, we continue to provide our catering services, private dinners and delivery service.
Thank you for your support.
Regards,
Carla Mantecon
