Xavier the adoptable hound needs a new home to investigate

Four-year-old Xavier is a bundle of energy and is up for adoption through the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.

The treeing walker coonhound has a great sense of smell and loves long walks, hikes and runs.

“Basically, Xavier loves to be a dog on the move,” AWLA spokesperson Gina Hardter told ALXnow. “On your adventures, you’re much less likely to see him taking in the scenic views; instead he will be reveling in all the scents along your journey.”

Thanks to a generous donor, Xavier’s adoption fees have already been paid. To learn more about how to meet him, visit AlexandriaAnimals.org/Adopt-By-Appointment.
