A new Ted’s Bulletin location is under construction in the Carlyle neighborhood.
The all-day breakfast spot is shooting to open next month at 2471 Mandeville Lane, according to a Facebook post.
The Alexandria location will be the company’s ninth restaurant, joining others in the Ballston neighborhood of Arlington, Loudoun, Merrifield, Reston, D.C. and Maryland.
The restaurant, which is currently hiring, is known for its homemade Pop Tart-style toaster pastries, called Ted’s Tarts. Other all-day breakfast options also include a variety of eggs, pancakes, French toast, crab cake benedict, Norway benedict, steak and eggs, chicken and biscuits and more.
Also on the menu are sandwiches, soups and salads, which come with halal and vegetarian options. Online reviews note generous portions and fun, retro-style decor.
Ted’s Bulletin also caters, and this year it is bringing back “Tedsgiving” — a complete Thanksgiving meal complete with turkey, potatoes, veggies and dessert. (Ordering for Tedsgiving from the Alexandria location is not available at this time.)
Ted’s Bulletin opened its first location in Capitol Hill in 2010. Originally created by brothers Mark Neal and Ty Neal with Matchbox Food Group co-founder Drew Kim, the company was acquired by &pizza co-founder Steve Salis in 2017.
