Another Invasive Insect Monitored in N. Va. — “Last year, the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) reported that the box tree moth has been discovered in Loudoun County. VDACS warned the moths can significantly damage and potentially kill boxwood plants if left unchecked. The agency says the caterpillars are ravenous feeders. Meta Agrees to Settlement in Teen Social Media Addiction Case — “The agreement guarantees $353 million for Virginia alone, making it one of the largest consumer protection settlements in state history outside of settlements with tobacco companies in the 1990s, Attorney General Jay Jones said in a statement.
