A pedestrian was killed in a crash in Old Town North yesterday (Monday), according to Alexandria police and fire radio dispatches.
The Alexandria Police Department said it was investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian at St. Asaph and Montgomery Streets. According to radio dispatches, units responded just before 5:30 p.m. Multiple callers reported that the pedestrian was down and not breathing.
Radio dispatches indicated the pedestrian was dead on arrival. The driver remained at the scene.
The pedestrian’s identity has not been released by APD.
