Meet Mia, a sweet, smart pup from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria who is eager to make new friends.
At just over a year old, Mia loves playing tug and fetch, and a volunteer with the AWLA told ALXnow that she’s picking up training pretty quickly. She also savors a good nap.
“She likes to crawl up into her human’s lap to nap and give the best puppy hugs,” the volunteer wrote.
The well-behaved pup is currently spending her days in foster care with a feline friend, and the two enjoy each other’s company.
“She is also good at playing quietly by herself,” the volunteer wrote. “You can work on her training with some tasty treats and experience the joyful fun of this delightful pup.”
Mia is a medium-sized dog at 36 pounds. She’s recognizable by her beautiful black and blue-ticked coat.
