Meet Inu, a happy pup at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria who loves tug-of-war, hiking and long walks.
Two-year-old Inu weighs about 56 pounds, thrives with lots of affection and is super outdoorsy — he “would be thrilled to go on woodland hikes or neighborhood strolls, as long as he’s by your side,” according to an AWLA volunteer. While he may be active, “he transforms into a cuddle bug at the end of active days.”
“I am a happy people-loving dog with a big heart and an even bigger love for life,” Inu’s pet profile reads.
Inu is ready to find his forever family. In the past, he has lived peacefully alongside kids and an adult cat. He is also crate-trained and known for his “very good house manners.”
“I am going to make a great couch buddy at the end of a long day,” his profile reads. “And just so you know, belly rubs and butt scratches are my favorite!”
The volunteer wrote, “If you are looking for a bright and well-rounded canine companion, Inu could be your boy! Contact the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria to meet Inu.”
Inu can be visited during the shelter’s regular adoption hours.
