‘Indochen’ in Cameron Station will close permanently later this month

A popular Indian and Chinese restaurant at Cameron Station is preparing to close for good.

Indochen, located at 4906 Brenman Park Drive, is shuttering permanently at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, multiple staff members confirmed to ALXnow.

Regulars will still be able to find their favorite dishes at Indochen’s Old Town location in the Hyatt Centric at 1615 King Street in Old Town.

Co-owners Ashok Tamang and Chef Ram Thapa first opened Indochen in 2020. Their previous concept, London Curry House, operated in that location for six years.

Indochen received a visit and feature from America’s Best Restaurants last February. The show highlighted some of the restaurant’s well-loved menu items, including biryani pots and chicken dumplings served in a tomato onion chutney.

Indochen did not respond to a request for comment.
