Meet Max, an adorable four-legged companion in foster care who spent much of the past year at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
The three-year-old “gorgeous guy with his perfectly mismatched ears” weighs about 73 pounds, according to an AWLA volunteer. The pup is “playful and engages enthusiastically with chew toys and food puzzles.”
“Max is ready to go home as your loyal and loving sidekick,” the volunteer wrote. “Max is a social dog and is eager to please, already responding to the cues for sit and down.”
The AWLA also describes him as a “food-motivated” and smart dog who would benefit from a fenced yard with plenty of room for play. He’s also a big fan of cuddles, we’re told.
“If you are looking for a constant, sweet-faced companion, then Max could be your dog!”
An AWLA donor has prepaid Max’s adoption fees. He can be visited during the shelter’s regular adoption hours.
