Meet Skye, “a sweet girl with a shy shell” who arrived at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria as a local stray.
The medium-sized pooch with black and white fur weighs about 46 pounds, “is very treat-motivated and would love to become friends through the help of some tasty snacks,” according to an AWLA volunteer.
“She would also respond well to training! Skye loves to receive pets once she gets to know you a little bit,” the volunteer wrote. “Truly, she will sit with you forever if she gets head scratches! Be prepared to snuggle in for a while with Skye.”
Skye is searching for a new home and is ready to be your next “walking buddy, play time partner and confidante,” according to her pet profile.
