Sassy, “the wonder pup” of the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, is always ready for a good adventure.
The 8-month-old puppy “is demonstrating many great qualities at a young age,” an AWLA volunteer wrote. Affectionate and active, she needs plenty of exercise, “preferably at your side.”
“Sassy loves to run and play, then settle down for cozy cuddles with her person,” according to AWLA. “She is very affectionate and got along well with young children in a previous home.”
Sassy weighs 54 pounds “and still has some growing to do.” She would benefit from a human who could “show her the ropes through gentle guidance and positive reinforcement training.”
