Adoptable Pet of the Week: Estelle, the ‘pocket of sunshine’

Meet Estelle, a playful pup and “awesome companion” at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria who is ready to find her fur-ever home.

The “tail-wagging pocket of sunshine” is three years old, weighs 41 pounds and “loves to run and play with her squeaky toys,” according to an AWLA volunteer.

“She enjoys a good game of fetch and may even return the ball to you once in a while!” the volunteer wrote.

Estelle is “at a great stage of life, past the puppy silliness yet full of more balanced young dog energy.” She seems to cooperate well with other dogs and is trainable “with the help of tasty treats.”

“She is a tail-wagging pocket of sunshine who is sure to make your day, every day,” the volunteer wrote. “If you think that Estelle could be your new furry friend, contact the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria!”

Estelle can be visited during the shelter’s regular adoption hours.
