City Council cancels town hall meeting next week

The Alexandria City Council has canceled its town hall meeting previously scheduled for next Wednesday, Nov. 5.

No reason was provided for the cancellation, and the city said that the next meeting will be rescheduled for early 2026.

In the meantime, the public can contact City Council members via Alex311, according to the city.

The Council will convene next at City Hall (301 King Street) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday for a Legislative Meeting. The meeting can also be accessed via Zoom. Public comments can be submitted to the city clerk at [email protected].
