A single-vehicle rollover accident closed eastbound Duke Street in the 1600 block Sunday morning, according to Alexandria Police.
The incident, which occurred before 8:56 a.m., resulted in minor injuries to the driver, police said in a social media update. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Alexandria Police are advising motorists to avoid the area as crews work to clear the scene and investigate the cause of the rollover. The department has not provided an estimated timeline for when the roadway will reopen.
