There’s a new business in Old Town that’s not only raising eyebrows, but extending lashes.

Wink Lash Art moved to its new location on the second floor of 201 King Street (above Comfort One Shoes) at the end of June. Owner Bianca Claudia Briscan says that the 850-square-foot space more than doubles the area she and her staff worked with the last six years at their previous location at 300 S. Washington Street.

“We’re literally in the heart of Old Town,” Briscan told ALXnow. “We’re still moving in furniture, and we’re seeing so much traffic and walk-ins. The neighbors are amazing, too. Everyone is so nice.”

Briscan, a licensed master esthetician, opened her business after moving to the area in 2019.

“I’m a military spouse, and in 2018 we ate here for lunch and I said, ‘I have to open my business here,'” Briscan said. “Six years and a couple of months later, I’m there.”

Services offered at the shop include lash extensions, brow lifts, and hair removal.

Briscan also said that she and several Old Town salons are collaborating on an Old Town Beauty Tour, offering discounts throughout the year.
