The Alexandria Police Department issued a missing person alert late Tuesday night for an 82-year-old man who was last seen in the area of 5837 Quantrell Avenue.
Alexander Polyak, 82, is described by police as 5 feet tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds, with blue eyes and white-gray hair. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, white shirt, gray pants, and white sneakers.
“Officers are searching for this man,” the Alexandria Police Department stated in their Facebook post. “If you know his whereabouts, please call 911 or the non-emergency line at 703-746-4444.”
Anyone with information about Polyak’s whereabouts is urged to contact authorities immediately. Police have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding his disappearance or when he was last seen.
