Morning commutes around Alexandria’s West End are bound to be more pleasant, since the newly remodeled Dunkin’ at 4653 Duke Street now has a drive-thru, Wi-Fi and taps for cold coffee and tea.

Franchisee Rony Haque will host a grand reopening ribbon-cutting and make a $500 donation to the Alexandria Fire Department at 9 a.m. on Friday (May 16).

Customers at the event can get a .99 cent medium coffee, giveaways, samples, and also check out the renovations, which include new digital kiosks.

Dunkin’s mascot Cuppy will also make an appearance.
