The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce is calling for nominations for its yearly community awards, including the 40 Under 40, 40 Over 40, and Community Champions Honors.
If you want to nominate someone for the 2025 40 Under 40 or 40 Over 40 Awards, you have until April 4 to do so. These awards shine a spotlight on exceptional individuals who’ve made a real difference in Alexandria.
You can send in your nominations by email, and if you’re applying yourself, you can choose between filling out a PDF or using an online form.

The Chamber is also on the lookout for Community Champions. These are the unsung heroes who keep our community thriving. They’re recognizing standout educators, hospitality workers, health professionals, government employees, utility workers, and senior care providers.
For the Community Champions Honors, you’ve got until April 11, 2025, to get your nominations in. You can nominate someone online or submit an application through the Chamber’s website.
Mark your calendars – the big awards ceremony is set for May 22, 2025.
