New Japanese restaurant replaces Toppers Pizza in Arlandria

Sake Express Japanese Hibachi opened earlier this week in Arlandria.

The new restaurant at 3827 Mount Vernon Avenue opened on Monday and is the latest spot for a local chain with three other locations, including Sake Japanese Steakhouse at 2016 Eisenhower Avenue.

Staff at the restaurant told ALXnow they offer online orders and delivery through the website Clover. The restaurant offers a variety of chicken, beef and seafood dishes.

“So far, favorites have been hibachi and the bento boxes,” staff said.

An employee at the restaurant said one person has ordered at the restaurant almost every day since they opened and has left them with positive reviews.

Sake Express Japanese Hibachi is currently running a grand opening promotion through March 31. Every order over $10 will have a $2 discount, with a $3 discount on orders over $15, a $5 discount for orders over $25 and a $10 discount on orders over $50.
