Thousands of art lovers visited Mount Vernon Avenue in Del Ray on Saturday.
The weather was perfect for the 24th annual Art on the Avenue — sunny and in the 70s without a cloud in the sky.
“It would appear that the entire DC metro area is on Mount Vernon Avenue right now,” tweeted Mayor Justin Wilson. “It’s Art on the Avenue, everyone!”
The annual festival along Mount Vernon Avenue from Visit Del Ray featured all kinds of sellable work from 350 artists, as well as music on four stages, activities for kids and more.
